As an independent, non-profit philanthropic foundation, our Charitable Foundation is funded solely by Southern Company Gas through shareholder dollars.

Our PeopleWhen disaster strikes, our employees are on the front lines making sure the basic needs of the community are being met. Our people in the field, fight the elements on a daily basis to ensure energy is restored in times of need and that homes stay safe during severe weather.
And this commitment to our customers, neighbors and communities extends beyond the delivery of clean, safe and reliable gas. Hundreds of our employees, their families and friends, come together every year for Volunteer Week to give their time and talents to organizations in the communities where they live and work.
